Training and Presentation Descriptions: **any session can be customized for your needs Microsoft Word - In this session, you will be able to choose from a variety of topics based on your audience needs and time investment. Topics to choose from are both basic and advanced topics including: The Word Environment, navigating in Word, creating a basic word document, using templates, editing and formatting a document, tab settings, special characters, page set up, print options, mail merge, working with tables, lists, charts, graphic options, styles and themes, shared documents, document changes, bookmarks, footnotes and endnotes, captions, hyperlinks, form fields or other customized topics at your request. This seminar/training is available as a lecture/demonstration or hands on in your computer lab provided. Microsoft Excel - In this session, you will be able to choose from a variety of topics based on your audience needs and time investment. Topics to choose from are both basic and advanced topics including: The Excel Environment, navigating in Excel, Excel terminology, creating a basic spreadsheet, performing basic calculations (formulas and functions), formatting an Excel file, multiple worksheets, print options, creating and modifying charts, graphic objects, PivotTables and PivotCharts or other customized topics at your request. This seminar/training is available as a lecture/demonstration or hands on in your computer lab provided. Microsoft Outlook- In this session, you will be able to choose from a variety of topics based on your audience needs and time investment. Topics to choose from are both basic and advanced topics including: The Outlook environment, sending messages, responding to messages, using folders to organize, managing contacts, calendars, adding appointments, scheduling meetings, tasks, email signatures or other customized topics at your request. This seminar/training is available as a lecture/demonstration or hands on in your computer lab provided. Microsoft OneNote - In this session, you will be able to choose from a variety of topics based on your audience needs and time investment. Topics to choose from are both basic and advanced topics including: The OneNote Environment, navigating in OneNote, OneNote terminology, Creating a notebook, entering notes, formatting notes, shapes, organizing notes, tags, integrating with other office applications or other customized topics at your request. This seminar/training is available as a lecture/demonstration or hands on in your computer lab provided. Social Media for Business - In this session we will explore the social media tools available that can increase communication to your client base and increase revenue goals. We will talk about strategies to ensure the best use of social media to accomplish your business goals. The three main social media tools used today are Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. We will explore each of these and work together on strategies for your organization. Personal vs. Professional Online Reputation Management - How many social media sites do you belong to? Is your profile highlighting your professional reputation? Have you ever done a Google search for yourself and monitored your personal online identity? In this session we will discuss what it means to have an online reputation, the different social media websites that are out there and discuss strategies to ensure the information people see about you is the image you want to portray. We will discuss why this is important and what you can do to protect yourself. Featured websites to be discussed will be Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. You will walk away with the tools and knowledge to improve your online reputation. LinkedIn Basics - LinkedIn is a professional networking tool, used by over 100 million people in over 200 countries, which allows users to collaborate and share best practices. LinkedIn promotes lifelong learning by networking and collaborating with professionals from around the world, allowing you to learn and grow through their experiences. In this session we will work on steps to get your profile to 100%, making connections and contacts, joining groups, searching for companies and jobs. By the end of the session you will walk away with the tools and knowledge to put together a professional profile and increase your visibility in your professional community. LinkedIn Advanced - Having a LinkedIn profile is the first step in collaborating with other professionals, so in this session we will go into the more advanced features to get the full benefit of your LinkedIn Account. We will talk about optimization techniques for your profile, adding categories and specializations, sections, asking for a receiving recommendations, searching for events, Box.net files and other applications, LinkedIn Settings and customized URL and more. Twitter - What is it and why should I join - In 140 characters or less, tell me what you are doing. Twitter is a micro blogging technology that is used by individuals, professionals and businesses around the world as a way of communicating. Like many tools, Twitter isn't for everyone. In this session we will examine what Twitter is, the different twitter demographics and users, how to create your own Twitter strategy, Twitter terminology and symbols to get the most from your account, setting up an account, searching for people and topics and taking part in the conversations. Used for business or personally, get real time news as it happens. You will walk away with the tools and resources to effectively create a Twitter strategy that works for you Networking to Reach your Goals - "Make Friends before you need them".
